Lion House

In this reimagined London townhouse, the studio worked in collaboration with Ben Smith Architects to transform a traditional home into a warm, layered sanctuary designed for everyday family living. Developed across two major phases of renovation, the spaces were carefully evolved to feel both relaxed and refined, accommodating parents, children and visitors alike.

The design strikes a thoughtful balance between playful, practical details and more grown-up moments: a moody basement bar for unwinding after long workdays, bespoke joinery throughout for seamless storage, and rich, textural finishes such as natural plasters and limewash walls that bring depth to the home’s original architectural bones. Bespoke brass and a carefully edited material palette lend a quietly elevated feel without compromising comfort.

From integrated storage solutions and playful children’s spaces to considered materials and unexpected functional details, this project exemplifies a layered, liveable approach to contemporary London living.
